How do I export a survey's data?

Learn where and how to export data from your survey.




First, go to the Survey overview by either clicking on the big globe icon or on "Open".





⭐ EITHER go via the button "Data export" in the left sidebar from anywhere within Climedo ➡️ A window will pop up where you can choose the data you wish to export. 

⭐ OR you can first go to the module, e.g. (S)AE, survey overview and select the data you wish to export by checking the boxes in front of the SIC and THEN select "Data export" in the left sidebar. ➡️ This way, the upcoming window will be pre-filled. 



 

Type of data: 

Firstly select the type of data you wish to export.

  • Subject-specific data 
  • A blank CRF (as PDF) without any comments or details
  • An annotated CRF (as PDF) which shows you the set-up of the study with details. For example, it includes information such as export labels of each input field. 
SICs: 

If you have chosen to export subject-specific data, you will able to select the subjects via the SICs. You can select all SICs, multiple or even single ones. 

Data to export and data format: 

Now, choose the data you wish to export and the desired data format.


Depending on the selected data, the possibilities of data format will adapt respectively.


Scheduled events: 

In a PDF, you can either include unfilled fields within the input forms or not. 




XLSX gives you the opportunity to consolidate tabs (see below) which gives you a more compact version of the data.






For CSV you can also select the file delimiter.







Consolidate tabs: an input form (e.g. "Health Status") that is used in several steps of the workflow with the same name is consolidated in the same sheet/csv file.

⭐ Unconsolidated tabs: each input form (e.g. Health Status") is exported in a different sheet/csv file.

Audit Trail:

The Audit trail is available in PDF format. 

⚠️ Please note that you can only pull an audit trail export for each individual subject.


If you would like to export the audit trail, please contact your Customer Success Manager.


Finally, click on the button in the bottom right corner to proceed. The download will start automatically. Depending on the volume of the data, this could take a few moments.

 


⭐ The export data will be downloaded either directly through your browser or you will receive an email with a link to access it.

⚠️ When receiving an email, the link will automatically expire within 24 hours due to security reasons.
