Amendment – Input Form

Modified on Fri, 25 Apr at 1:25 PM

Learn how to proceed with an amendment of an input form.

⚠️  Please note: Amendments can only be implemented in the sandbox environment. Please read the following article first: Sandbox Environment - Updating Active Studies and Surveys

1. Locking Feature

Add Locking:

If you add locking to your active input form, a red lock sign will appear on top of the form for each enrolled subject.

If you have already set signatures for your input form and then add locking to the form, you need to consider the following: Usually, you must first lock a form before being able to sign it. If forms have already been signed and you add a locking afterwards, the signatures will not break and forms will stay signed, even if the form is not yet locked.

Change the user role for locking:

If you change the user role for locking, any forms that have been locked by the previous role will remain locked and can only be unlocked by the new role. After that, locking will only be possible with the new locking user role.

Delete locking:

If you remove the locking function from an input form, the status on the subject overview adjusts per subject.

2. Hierarchical Signatures

Add:

If you wish to add a hierarchical order of signatures, your previously signed forms will remain signed and from then on, the hierarchical order will apply.

Change:

If you change the hierarchical order of the signatures, your previously signed forms will stay signed, even if the order was different. From then on, the new hierarchical order will apply.
