Learn how to use the source data verification as a feature in Climedo
With the Source Data Verification (SDV) feature, the verification process of input field data can be documented within the input form of a subject. Please note that this feature is not automatically used in all studies and must be configured in the setup of the individual studies. If this feature is not used in your study, please contact your study coordinator. The SDV status percentage can be viewed in the subject or (S)AE overview and can be included in the "Subject status" and "(S)AE status" reports to export the respective data per subject.

Verifying Input fields
Input field data can be verified in two ways:
Form level: When the form is not yet verified, a verification icon is shown next to the sign and lock icons. All applicable input fields in the form can be verified simultaneously by clicking on this icon. This action can also be reverted by clicking on the verified SDV icon. | ![]() |
Field level: Alternatively, the user can verify each input field by simply clicking on the icon next to the field. Similarly, the user can un-verify each field by clicking on the icon again. The form needs to be saved after field verification. The entire form will count as verified, when all fields with enabled verification are verified. | ![]() |
⭐ Empty fields: Empty input fields cannot be verified; the input field must be filled or marked as unavailable. |
⭐ Field updates: When the data in a field is updated, the verification is dropped and the status should revert to verification needed. |
⭐ Locking and signature: SDV is considered as a separate process to locking and signing and forms with an incomplete SDV status should be able to be locked and signed. |
⭐ Subject status: Only subjects with the status “active” or “completed” can be verified. |
