How do I delete, deactivate or update collaborators?

Learn how to delete, deactivate or update collaborators.

In Step 2 "Access" of your study, choose the tab "Collaborators".

1. Deleting and Deactivating Collaborators

First, check the box next to the email address of the collaborator you wish to delete or deactivate.
Then go via "Actions" and choose "Remove collaborator" or "Deactivate collaborator".

A warning message will pop up which you will need to confirm again before the actual deletion/deactivation. Click OK to proceed with deleting/deactivating your collaborator.

Understand the details of deleting and deactivating a collaborator:

⭐ If a collaborator of your active study/survey is no longer taking part in the project or you need to remove them from the study/survey, we recommend withdrawing their rights by updating the collaborator and deactivating them, rather than deleting them.

2. Updating Collaborators

You can easily update collaborators at any time. Click on their email address  in the collaborator list and a new window will pop up.

Now you can edit the access rights and user type. The name und email address can only be edited by the person themselves and are therefore shown in gray if not editable.
